The boys soccer team scored its first win Tuesday night against Peters Township by a score of 2-1.

“We put more effort into everything we did and we fought hard for the ball to win,” junior Damian Pfaff said.

The Highlander goalie, sophomore Jackson Brandwene, was one of the key players of the night.

“He made a lot of great saves to keep us in the game,” Pfaff said.

Juniors Laun Thar Eh and Devlin Iaquinta also played well and scored the goals for the night, Pfaff said.

The team hopes to keep its momentum for its upcoming games.

“We need to stay motivated and keep the chemistry we’ve gained for the rest of the season,” Pfaff said.
