The Baldwin wrestling team is turning Wednesday’s wrestling match into an American Cancer Society charity event in honor of coach and physical education teacher George McCormack, who is battling esophageal cancer.
Donations will be taken at the gate for the match against section rival West Mifflin at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the high school gym. All proceeds will be donated to the cancer society’s Relay For Life charity event.
McCormack has coached football, wrestling, track and field, and tennis for the Highlanders since 1992.
