While leaving the theater after watching Cedric Nicolas-Troyan’s latest project, The Huntsman: Winter War, the only thing audience members will be thinking is how they just wasted two hours and three minutes of their lives that they will never get back. The prequel to the 2012 Snow White and the Huntsman proves that some ideas would just not make a good movie. The several storylines include the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron), before meeting Snow White, battling against her sister the White Queen (Emily Blunt); Chris Hemsworth, reprising his role as the Huntsman, growing up as a trained warrior for the White Queen; and the overused, eye-rolling, forbidden love story between the Huntsman and fellow warrior Sara (Jessica Chastain). Not only is the plot irrelevant to the previous film, but it is also extremely predictable. The only way for people to think this movie is remotely good is if they just don’t go see it.
