Softball rolls over Lebo, preps for Senior Rec game

After a 12-0 mercy win in the fifth inning against Mount Lebanon, the girls softball team is going into its senior recognition game today at 6 p.m. against Upper St. Clair.

Seniors Jaimie Schleicher, Ashley Brady, and Ana Hale all hit home runs in the game against Lebo.

Those three, along with Barbara Spegar, are the seniors who will be recognized today for their strong seasons.

Hale will be the starting pitcher for tonight’s game. In the last game against Upper St. Clair, Hale pitched a one-hit shutout, and Schleicher had a home run and two doubles.

The team’s record is now 8-3 overall, and 7-2 in section.
