Playoffs are almost now completely out of the picture for the boys baseball team.

After a 6-0 loss to Canon-Mac on Wednesday, the boys have only a long-shot scenario relying on other teams to put them in the playoffs.

“We would need a lot of help from other teams to make it,” junior Anthony Rago said.

Even though the boys lost on Wednesday, it was not all bad.

“Our pitchers pitched very well, and (junior) Mikey (Dolan) came in as a good relief pitcher,” Rago said.

“We just didn’t hit,” Rago said.

Overall the boys record is now 5-8, and their section record is 4-6.

Their next game is at Central Valley today.
