The boys volleyball team was shut out on Tuesday by Bethel Park, the WPIAL’s top-ranked team.

The scores of the games were 25-20, 25-22 and finally 25-15.

After that tough loss, the Highlanders are hoping to win their game against Central Catholic on Thursday.

“Our team has been improving throughout the season, but so have other teams. Central is good, so it will be interesting to see how tomorrow’s game goes,” sophomore Mike Goga said.

Goga said the team will need a big game from stronger players like senior Peter Wright and sophomore Donte Parente to bring home a win.
