The boys lacrosse team looks to rebound tonight against Quaker Valley after an 18-7 loss to Moon Wednesday night.

The team dropped to 1-4.  The Highlanders struggled from the start of the game with turnovers and failing to capitalize on clearing opportunities, sophomore Colton Abate said.

Abate continues to tear up the field, recording three more goals, bringing his total to 17 for the first five games of the season.

“I give a lot of credit to my teammates. They are finding me at the rights times, and the when I see the ball go in the net, it gives me the confidence that I need to continue my early success,” Abate said.

For tonight’s game, the boys are confident as they travel to face the 3-3 Quakers.

“If we don’t let last night’s loss affect us, we should come out victorious with a key road victory,” Abate said.
