Carrying momentum from their first section victory earlier in the week, the baseball team earned another win on Wednesday, defeating Canon-Mac 4-2.

The win evened Baldwin’s section record at 2-2. They are 3-4 overall.

“(Senior) Corey (Reimond) and (senior) Ryan (Rojtas) did a great job pitching. They really fought on the mound. We played very solid defense,” junior Anthony Rago said.

“Canon-Mac has a good program, so it is always nice to get a win when playing them,” Rago said.

“This game gives us a chance to start over because of the bad start we had to the season. These last two wins were important to get some confidence moving throughout the season,” Rago said.

The boys play Carrick on Friday at Carrick with Chris Eisel as the starting pitcher.
