Boys volleyball is looking to bounce back tonight in a match against Upper St. Clair after losing in a non-section game against Butler Monday night.

Butler is ranked sixth in WPIALs. Baldwin lost to them 3 games to 1.

After losing the first two games, the boys won the third but lost again in a close fourth game.

Junior Luke Scherz and senior Peter Wright both had standout games for the Highlanders, sophomore Mike Goga said.

“We passed the ball well, but lacked intensity and passion,” Goga said.

The loss brings the team’s overall record to 3-2.

The team’s next game is away tonight against Upper St. Clair.

“It should be pretty good game to put us back on the right track to make playoffs eventually,” Goga said.
