When a craving for hibachi hits, it is hard to ignore. Saga: Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, located in South Hills Village, is a great place to have a meal with a group of friends. Not only is the food great, but the service is excellent as well. The chefs are very interactive and keep the crowd happy and excited to have their meal. The restaurant includes multiple hibachi tables, a dining room area with a sushi bar, and a bar. The sushi is very good and quickly prepared. The menu is extensive, including soups, salads, hibachi lunch and dinner specials, sushi, and more Japanese cuisine that can be ordered in the dining room. The only catch is that hibachi is very pricey, starting at around $20 a meal. Hibachi dinners are definitely more of a “once in a while” thing for most people. The amount of food diners get, though, is extensive, and leftovers are very common. Everyone starts with soup and salad, then fried rice, vegetables, and shrimp. From there, diners can pick if they want chicken, steak, or more shrimp and vegetables. But best of all, their sauces will top off a great dish. Most people are very fond of their “yum, yum” sauce and it will leave hibachi fans wanting to eat more.
