The softball team won big over Carrick by a score of 14-0 on Tuesday.  It was the team’s first game of the season, and starts the year off with a section win.

Senior Ashley Brady hit a home run in the win and senior Ana Hale pitched a complete game shutout with only one hit against her.

It was Hale’s first game back from a knee injury that kept her out all of last season.

Senior Jaime Schleicher went 4-4 with a walk in the win.

“We played to our potential, not down to the opponent,” sophomore Carly Santillo said.

The next game is April 4 against Peters Township.
