Out of 1,846 entries in a regional art competition, 21 Baldwin High School artists have been recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
“I’m very proud them,” studio art teacher Cheryl Foote said. “They’re all very talented and deserve the recognition.”
All of the 21 artists recognized are in Studio Art 2, 3, or 4.
“It is a high accomplishment, and we will be celebrating in the studio art classes,” Foote said.
The winning entries will be displayed at La Roche College, Foote said.
