The Baldwin girls soccer team lost 6-0 to Canon-Mac on Monday night.
Despite a good start to the season, the team has been struggling through injury and illness.
“We took a long break off, and I do not think we were mentally or physically ready for the game,” senior Mary Vargo said.
Vargo believes no one on the team was truly at their best last night, leading to the lopsided loss.
“We could have done everything better,” senior Annabelle Herrle said.
Vargo agreed.
“We could have done a better job locking down the middle, marking, and attacking as a team,” Vargo said.
The team hopes to have better results during their game away Wednesday against Peters Township.
