The boys varsity volleyball team competes during the spring sports season.

The boys volleyball team fell to Moon 3-1 on Thursday.

Moon brought a strong offense and constant energy, sophomore Brayden Gremba said.  Baldwin struggled to receive serves, which ultimately brought Moon to the victory, he said.

“We performed better than we did last game, but we just fell short to a pretty good team,” Gremba said.

The team Highlanders plan to work on strengthening their defense for the next game.

Gremba said Senior Rohan Bhattarai stood out during the game.

“He played his heart,” Gremba said. “He had an amazing game.”

The team plans on continuing to build their skills and improve each game.

“We had a hard loss, but we’re going to work harder next time,” sophomore Alex Kelly said.

Kelly said the Highlanders did well communicating with one another.

The next game is at 7 p.m. today at home against Thomas Jefferson.
