The Happy Fits’ second album, What Could Be Better, deserves more recognition.

The Happy Fits is an indie rock band from Pittstown, N.J. The band made their debut in 2016 with a five-song EP titled Awfully Apeelin’.

Their second album, What Could Be Better, was released in 2020. It was written about the band members’ experience dropping out of college to pursue a career in music.

The album opens with “Go Dumb,” a strong introduction to the album, featuring the upbeat instrumentals and vocals that the band is known for.

Some other standouts on the album include “Hold Me Down” and “She Wants Me (To Be Loved).” Both songs are prime examples of the bands’ incredible musical talent.

Behind these energetic songs, the band also has exceptional lyrical skill. Their writing, incredible vocals and fun background instrumentals make for a creative, fun album.

Though they are relatively unknown, the band has many amazing songs, and should be much more popular. Overall, their music is great for anyone looking for a casual, fun listening experience.
