The Baldwin boys lacrosse team lost to Canon-McMillon 15-1 on Thursday night.

Baldwin’s one goal was scored by sophomore Cody Garrett with seconds left in the game.

Garrett thought that the team needed to be more aggressive.

“We need to play more physically throughout the whole game,” he said.

The Highlanders’ defense could not stop the Big Mac’s strong offensive front.

“They were able to move better off the ball and create opportunities for each other,” he said.

Sophomore Trevor Brain said the players need to step up and play better to earn their first win of the season.

“If we want to win, at the end of the day it’s on us to get it done,” he said.

Brain said junior Owen Klodowski impacted the game for the Highlanders.

“He worked hard for us and fielded a lot of the ground balls,” Brain said.

The Highlanders play next Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Seton LaSalle.
