The boys volleyball team lost to Bethel Park, 3-0, on Thursday.

After a close first game, the team failed to keep the lead. Junior Ryan Shaneman thinks the team needs to play with more consistency.

“We need to work on communication and hitting the ball aggressively, but also find the court,” Shaneman said.

Even though the team lost, some players stood out.

“Bibeak (Bhujel) did a good job passing the ball where it needed to be, and Rohan (Bhattarai) did a good job hitting,” Shaneman said.

Sophomore Blaine Rigby agreed.

“Rohan did well hitting consistently and aggressively, and overall played well at the net,” Rigby said.

Rigby said the team will work on communication and scoring off of offense in preparation for their next game, and hopes the team will continue to pass well.

“For the next game, we need to have our blocks set and then set with the right timing,” Shaneman said.

The team plays at home on Tuesday against Peters.
