Boys tennis beat Woodland Hills 4-1 on Thursday in their senior rec match.

Senior and co-captain David Werner said senior Brayden Yokopenic dominated his set.

“Brayden was off the court in 20 minutes. It was record time,” Werner said.

Werner also won his match. He had to go into a tie break in the second set, but he was victorious.

Also winning for Baldwin were Owen Garofalo and the first doubles team of Leyton Yokopenic and Hayden Swanson.

Werner also complimented the exhibition doubles team of Seth Franco and Kelson Kleinhampl, saying that it was impressive that they were able to win despite it being their first year.

“This is their first year of tennis and they won a good match, which was really impressive,” Werner said.

Their next match is against Trinity on Monday.
