Baldwin’s boys and girls swim teams lost to Fox Chapel on Thursday.

Junior Evan Stokes said that since everyone on the team knew it was their last meet, they had the motivation to do their best regardless of the outcome of the meet.

“I knew there were a lot of good kids on that team, so I was kind of nervous, but I was also really excited to race,” junior Evan Stokes said.

Junior Kassidy Rohland said the team tried their hardest and supported each other.

“We were cheering for each other,” Rohland said.

Stokes said that the team got disqualified two or three times during the game.

“I think we need to stop making obvious mistakes,” Stokes said.

Stokes gave a shout-out to junior Dylan Lubarski. Rohland complimented diver Annabelle Herrle.

Rohland also said it was a satisfying way to end the season.

“I feel pretty good it was our last meet for the year,” Rohland said.
