Both the boys and girls swim team lost to Plum at home on Thursday.

Junior Dylan Lubarski believes that the team needs to improve their times in order to find success at future meets.

“I think that the biggest thing that we need to work on is getting our times down,” Lubarski said.

Junior Kassidy Rohland believes that despite the loss, the team still did a lot of things well.

“We did really well at cheering for each other and we were just there for each other,” Rohland said.

Rohland believes that in spite of the team’s support, Plum was a strong team.

“The other team did everything well, and they have a lot of kids. They were also good at supporting each other,” Rohland said.

Lubarski cites sophomore Spencer Maist as a standout swimmer at the meet. Maist was able to win the race in the 100 meter free and achieve a new personal best.

The team’s next meet is away Tuesday, January 17th against Mount Lebanon.
