The girls basketball team lost 60-49 to Peters Township on Monday.

After reflecting on the outcome of the game, team members said they feel they need to work on finishing the game strong.

“We need to work on the end of the game and focus on pulling through in the end,” Junior Katie Lucarelli said.

Junior Mallory Mezeivtch agreed.

“We need to focus on the fourth quarter and being consistent throughout the game,” Mezeivtch said.

Sophomore Mary Vargo complimented senior Gia Schoeb for playing consistently the whole game. Schoeb helped keep the team in the match, Vargo said.

Mezeivtch credited the team for working together, even though the game was tough.

“We worked the ball well with each other and communicated well,” Mezeivtch said.

Lucarelli agreed, and feels that the team mixed well during the game.

“We communicated well and brought high energy to the game,” Lucarelli said.

The team’s next game is at Thomas Jefferson tomorrow.
