The girls soccer team lost 1-0 against Canon Mac on Monday night in its last game of the season.

Despite the loss, sophomore Mia Beardsley believes the group did well, including her sister, junior Mikalah Beardsley.

“She just came back after being injured for a while and did very well,” Beardsley said.

Beardsley believes the team has come far this season compared to their previous one. They have improved in various areas, and she is enthusiastic about working on other aspects of the game outside the season.

“I think looking up is one thing we could work on,” Beardsley said. “When we connected our passes, I was happy because they were very nice.”

Beardsley is excited for next season, especially because of the improvement she has seen this season.

“This season turned out to be a lot better than I expected. Our playing and scores have been up. I am excited about next season,” Beardsley said.
