It is a perfect reflection of the character he has cultivated, painting this extremely toxic version of himself as the album goes through a lot of emotional ups and downs.

“GOAT of trap” rapper Future’s new I Never Liked You is one of the best releases of 2022.

The album features other popular rappers such as Kanye West, Gunna, Drake, and more. The choice of beats and flow on the album bring some elements of Future’s older creations, but it adds a new flair that is a change from his typical approach.

The opening track, “712PM,” gives more insight into his toxic character, but the album smooths out in “Wait for U,” where he talks about being more vulnerable, which defines the album as a whole.

Fans expect to hear some toxicity when listening to Future, but this album brings it to a whole other level. Some people may be able to handle it, but it can be far-fetched.

“Wait for U” and “The Way Things Goin” give insight to Future’s mental state. It’s too bad there aren’t more moments like these on the album, so fans could see more of that vulnerability, since it is not like Future’s typical character.

The album brings in some interesting elements of Future’s life and sounds really good. It’s definitely an album that will grow on people the more they listen.
