The boys baseball team defeated Pine Richland 8-3 on Wednesday.

The boys aren’t going to make it to the playoffs this season, but that doesn’t mean the season is over.

“We had a really fun season,” sophomore Adam Ledbetter said. “Even though the games mean nothing, we still are going to make the best out of it,” he said

Senior Zach Ingold hit the game-winning home run on Wednesday.

“It felt good to hit it,” he said.

Senior Jon Rauch also homered for Baldwin. Junior Carson Chapel pitched six innings and had six strikeouts for the Highlanders.

The Highlanders take the field one last time this season Friday against Bethel at Wallace at 4  p.m.
