Girls lacrosse lost to Penn-Trafford, 14-4, last Thursday.

Freshman Aliza Very scored three goals and junior Kaitlyn Porter scored one for Baldwin.

Senior Alyssa Bechtold said Very played really well and is an essential player this season.

“Aliza had a very standout game, particularly since she is a freshman,” Bechtold said.

Bechtold said the team had a hard time keeping up with their opponents as they made fast breaks. However, the Baldwin offense did well.

“The offense did a good job at cutting the ball and moving around,” Bechtold said.

Senior Caroline Pro is disappointed in the loss, especially since it was the last game of the season. She said the Highlanders did the best they could.

“I’m upset about how our last game went, but I’m glad we gave it our all and left everything we had on that field,” Pro said.
