The boys baseball team defeated Canon-Mac 11-1 on Wednesday while playing at Wild Things Stadium.

Junior Nick Brown got to play in his first varsity game and hit a 400-foot home run.

“It was interesting,” Brown said. “It was a very hype game overall and I had a lot of fun.”

This was the second-most runs the team has scored all year.

“We were able to just hit the ball where they weren’t,” senior Jake Scarpino said.

Scarpinio said the team really liked playing at the stadium.

“It was awesome and electric and much nicer than Wallace,” he said.

A favorite moment among the members of the team came when Jon Rauch stole a base.

The Highlanders take the field today away against Central today.
