The boys lacrosse team lost to Bethel Park 18-3 on Wednesday night.

The team fought hard throughout the game despite the difficult matchup, senior Cody Randal said. Bethel’s goalie, who is committed to a Division 1 school, made it hard for the Highlanders to score, he said.

“Bethel played good offense and moved the ball well. We were also able to move the ball well  and had some good looks. Unfortunately, their All-American goalie was able to stop most of what we had,” Randal said.

Jake Lubawy, Colton Tamburri, and Nico DeLallo each scored for Baldwin.

“Colton Tamburri was injured early in the game and came back in later on and really helped our team out,” Randal said.

This season has been a rough one for the team since they have only won one game so far, but they have realized the changes they need to make.

“We need to hustle harder and be able to outrun other teams to be able to win some games,” Randal said.
