Lacrosse plays another game.

Senior Colton Tamburri scored nine goals for Baldwin’s lacrosse team on Monday night, but the team still fell to Latrobe 16-12.

“This is the most anyone has scored in a single game” this season, senior Luke Kjelshus said.

Tamburri’s performance was impressive, Kjelshus said.

“Most of his scores were memorable. During his goals, he went through four or five defenders and they couldn’t do anything about it,” Kjelshus said.

Kjelshus also praised the team’s offense as a whole.

“The offense excelled with their passing and catching. I think they cleaned it up a lot better last night than some of their past few games,” Kjelshus said.

However, the first quarter was damaging, as the Highlanders fell behind. Despite turning on the offense later in the game, the Highlanders could not catch Latrobe.

Kjelshus said Baldwin’s players should be less hesitant to take shots.

“I think people just need to quit overthinking their shots and actually take them. Instead of getting scared, let it fly,” Kjelshus said.
