In an exhilarating Friday concert at Roxian Theatre, Saba gave fans an amazing performance.

Throughout the show, Saba interacted with the audience, getting everyone to wave their arms around together. He effortlessly brought energy during his performances of “Westside Bound 3” and “Stop That.” As soon as “Westside Bound 3” played, the entire crowd erupted. Saba, not being known as a trap artist, impressively matched the high intensity of artists like Playboi Carti.

Saba shifted the listening experience of some songs into a completely different pocket. Hearing alternate versions of songs during concerts is always interesting, so Saba performing “Life” with a live guitar and “Soldier” with an added outro verse made the show much more riveting.

One of the only disappointing moments of the show was the shortened version of “Free Samples.” Cheflee played guitar and sang, but Saba’s rap verse was removed. Though it was a beautiful way to open his set, it would’ve been great to hear his verse in concert.

The openers of the concert were amazing. From the stage presences to the actual music, it was an enjoyable experience. Amindi’s “Great Again,” MFnMelo’s “Take You There,” and Femdot’s “Digits” were the best songs performed by the three before Saba.

Act to act, the show went by so smoothly and efficiently. Multiple DJs played great music, one being Saba’s DJ, who played Mac Miller’s “Best Day Ever” as homage to Pittsburgh.

Overall, Saba put together an amazing show which everyone did their part in cohesively.
