Lacrosse plays another game.

The boys lacrosse team lost 18-2 to Mt. Lebanon on Monday.

The game has proven to be a wakeup call to the team.

“Seeing Mt. Lebanon play is a great example of what our team should strive for,” senior Colton Tamburri said.

The team has struggled to secure a win this season, as the section is very competitive.

“I think we need to hustle harder and start putting in the work. We need to go back to the basicas and work harder in practice,” Tamburri said.

Specifically, Tamburri said the team needs to focus on passing and catching.

Tamburri said junior Nico Delallo had a solid game, scoring both Baldwin goals.

The team plays Canon Mac on Thursday for their senior night. Tamburri hopes that the loss on Monday will not discourage the rest of the team for Thursday.

“We’re a close team, but we still struggle with keeping our spirits up before and after games,” he said.
