The Batman starts the reboot of a new Batman movie series featuring Robert Pattinson, providing an alternate storyline to the Batman series starring Christian Bale.

Batman, of course, is Bruce Wayne, the child of a famous CEO of Wayne Enterprises and politician, whose parents were murdered when Bruce was just a child. This Batman calls himself “Vengeance” because he defends his city as vengeance for his murdered parents.

The Riddler, played by Paul Dano, goes on a rampage of murdering important political figures in an attempt to expose the corruption in Gotham. Bruce becomes tied into this web due to his father’s actions.

Other villains such as the Penguin and mob leader Carmine Falcone become involved in the Riddler’s grand scheme as well. Zoe Kravitz plays Catwoman, who becomes a love interest of Batman’s as they continue to unravel the mysteries that lie within Gotham.

As the movie progresses, the craziness of the twists and turns keep the audience hooked on the storyline and what happens next.

It is safe to say that The Batman starts the new reboot of the series off great.
