Boys volleyball lost to Peters Township, 3-0, on Thursday night.

Sophomore Annan Gurung said the team struggled with blocking and passing.

Despite the difficult game, the Highlanders are proud of their effort.

“On the final set we played, we had a lot of energy and played probably the best we’ve ever played,” Gurung said.

Sophomore Rohan Bhattarai agreed that Baldwin’s third set was its best.

“We adapted towards the end of the game,” Bhattarai said.

Gurung credited senior Luke Campana for doing a good job at blocking and playing the best during the third set.

Gurung said Baldwin can improve on serving and receiving and other aspects of working together.

“We all need to perfect our own positions and put trust in each other,” Gurung said.

The Highlanders’ next game will be a home game against Thomas Jefferson on Monday.
