Lacrosse plays another game.

The boys lacrosse team lost 9-4 to Penn-Trafford on Wednesday.

“We actually played our best game last night. We ended the first half down 4-3, but we only played three quarters and didn’t dig deep for the last quarter,” senior Jacob Lubawy said.

The Highlanders are still seeking their first win, but the team keeps progressing.

“I think that we are slowly improving every game and we are starting to figure it all out. So our first win will be coming very soon and we will be getting in that groove,” Lubawy said.

Senior defenseman Zach Meszaros agreed.

“We took a lot from this game and will continue to bring it through to the next games,” Meszaros said.

Wednesday night was an improvement and the boys are proud of their defensive performance, Meszaros said.

The Highlander boys lacrosse team’s next game is next Thursday against Hempfield.
