Boys volleyball picked up one win in six matches at a weekend tournament at Peters Township.

Baldwin’s win came against Steel Valley.

Sophomore Rohan Bhattari said the team found the win against Steel Valley easy, but the Highlanders found their other opponents more difficult to play against.

“I think we can improve on team spirit, and being more awake. We were all really tired,” Bhattarai said.

Despite their losses, junior Justin Shaneman thinks the team has strengths to work on.

“Setting was probably our best skill, and we did well and established our block,” Shaneman said. “Most teams exploited our weaknesses.”

The team agrees that they need to work on serving, receiving, and passing.

The next game is a home game against Keystone Oaks tonight.
