Lacrosse plays another game.

Boys lacrosse lost to Central Catholic 12-6 on Wednesday night.

Although the Highlanders lost, there were some standout players on the team.

“Jake Lubawy had a really good game with three goals and he tore up Central’s defense all game and made really good plays,” senior Cody Randal said.

Also scoring for Baldwin were Colton Tamburri with one and and Nico DeLallo with two. The Highlanders stayed close in the first half, but Central pulled away with the win during the second half.

Despite the loss, this game was a learning experience for the team.

”We need to play a complete game and play our hardest the whole game,” Randal said. “We also need to stop taking dumb penalties when we’re down.”

This game is acting as motivation for the boys throughout the rest of the season, especially since they will face off against Central again.

“Central is one of the teams that we look forward to playing all year. Dropping it this time hopefully will encourage us to work harder and come back and beat them at home next time and beat many other teams with them,” Randal said.
