The Baldwin softball team won against Steel Valley 6-5 Wednesday night. 

Baldwin started off strong, with four runs in the first inning, then held on for the win. 

Sophomore Anna Schumacher was happy with the win and said it was a team effort. 

“The whole team worked very well together and it was a team win for sure,” Schumacher said. 

Sophomore Keira Platz said the Highlanders did well in all aspects of the game, though they could have used more hits. 

Junior Grace Schumacher said they were strong against Steel Valley for most of the game except for the third inning. They did well at coming back and had timely hits.
