The boys volleyball team fell to Peters Township on Tuesday night.

The Highlanders lost 3-0, but the scores were close: 27-25, 25-14, 25-20.

Senior Luke Campana said the team played well, but there is room for improvement.

“As a whole we did pretty good, but things definitely need to get better. We will be working on serve receives, setting and passing for the next game,” Campana said.

Junior Logan O’Donnell agreed.

“I think we all played as a team and lost as a team,” O’Donnell said.

O’Donnell said that even with a loss, the team still cheered each other on.

Standout players include Niraj Thapa, Annan Gurung and Marshal Rai.

“Niraj had good hits and a lot of passes. Annan also had good passes and Marshal had some good rolls,” Campana said.

The team’s next game is on Thursday at Upper Saint Clair.
