The boys and girls bowling teams lost against Thomas Jefferson on Wednesday night.

Freshman Brady Malloy said even though they lost, it was important that Baldwin stayed in each game, since their opponents are the best in the section.

“Everybody did their part. We knew it was going to be a tough match since TJ is the first in the section, but each game was close” he said.

Thomas Jefferson was able to secure the first two wins, automatically making them the winners.

Malloy said the match was junior Bobby Benton’s first match after having shoulder surgery.

“It was great to see Bobby come back after his surgery,” Malloy said.

Standout Baldwin bowlers included sophomore Cade Stanko and junior Paul Kercher, who scored the highest points in the match.

The team has two matches left, against Central Catholic and Elizabeth Forward.

The boys team’s record is 5-3 and the girls team’s record is 1-7.
