Down one goal early, the boys varsity hockey team scored three unanswered to secure the win over Cathedral Prep on Monday night.

Goals were scored by seniors Ryan Sulinski, Xander Aul, and Joey Antonio. Goaltender Eddie Nowicki rejected 24 of 25 shots thrown his way.

After losing three straight earlier in the season, the Highlanders now have won their third straight game.

“It’s definitely a good feeling to string together some wins because of our slow start to the season,” senior Dom Trimbur said.

Trimbur said that the team continued to get better in areas.

“We were able to keep good pressure on them as well in the defensive zone,” Shipley said.

Baldwin still should work on taking fewer penalties.

“We need to work on staying out of the penalty box because sometimes it brings teams back in games that they shouldn’t be in,” Trimbur said.

The Highlanders’ next game is on Nov. 29 at 9 p.m. at Ice Castle.
