Cliffhangers, especially ones that preview a time jump, cause uproars among audiences who want more.

The fourth and final season of the Netflix original series “On My Block” recently was released. The two-year span that occurs between the events of the third and fourth seasons causes a multitude of events that are not expected to occur. The events in this season make it much different than the previous three. 

The series is about four childhood best friends in the neighborhood Freeridge, who have relationship and friendship drama, solve mysteries, and go on adventures.

The friends continue their usual thrilling adventures, but the season focuses more on the personal lives of each character. 

Although the show does a great job of showcasing the different lives, that isn’t what the audience intends to watch. At times it is upsetting not to receive the wanted details of the adventures that took place. 

But the characters do come together toward the end for one final adventure. The final episode of the show ends on a positive note where the characters realize the importance of their friendship.

Overall, even though the season isn’t what fans might expect, On My Block season four concludes with a nice end to the series and deserves a watch.
