Baldwin High School is partnering with a local nonprofit organization to offer students homecoming attire free of charge.

As a non-profit organization run and organized in Baldwin, Community Clothes Exchange aims to provide a more comforting and secure environment for the community.

“They have access to new and slightly used dresses, suits, ties, shoes, and any type of clothing students need,” social studies teacher Natalie Grattan said.

The event will run Monday through Friday, Oct. 8. Interested Baldwin students will be able to go to the social studies planning room on the first floor during homeroom or from 2 to 3 p.m. to pick out donated homecoming clothes.

Students are also able to make appointments to get their clothing as well, Grattan said.

Baldwin has worked with the Community Clothing Exchange in the past, so when the group reached out again, the school was more than grateful to accept the offer.

“We don’t want the attire to be the reason a student can’t go,” Grattan said.
