Girls volleyball falls to Peters Township

The girls volleyball team lost 3-2 to Peters Township on Thursday.

Baldwin won the third and fourth sets of the match. Junior Kay Lindenfelser, outside hitter, said the team also played well in the other sets, but ended up falling short in the end.

“We were in the lead most of the games, but we gave it up every single time,” Lindenfelser said.

The team could have improved by making quicker adjustments when they needed to.

“We needed to listen to what the coach said faster,” Lindenfelser said.

Although the Highlanders did not get the result they wanted, Lindenfelser said junior Audrey Work and sophomore Jess Linden were the standout players.

“Jess had good serving and Audrey had good hits, especially when we needed them,” Lindenfelser said.

The next volleyball game is on Monday against North Hills.
