For years directors have been remaking animated movies into live-action films.

They have taken beloved Disney movies and ripped away the magic of animation by replacing it with real actors and CGI effects.

The list of great animated movies that have been remade into live-action films includes Cinderella, Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Enchanted, Pete’s Dragon, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, 101 Dalmatians, the Jungle Book, and the Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

A few of these movies were decent after being transformed to live action. Beauty and the Beast was well done, with the director making sure to keep the magic in the remake.

But most of the movies have been ruined. An example of this is the movie Alice and Wonderland. The director lost the magic from the movie, made it very creepy, and took away a few characters.

If someone were to sit down and watch every animated version of these movies and then watch the live-action remakes, that person would see how they take away key parts of the storyline.

Directors have even taken it as far as re-creating older movies such as The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. They took away the beauty of the old movie starring Mickey Mouse by making it live-action. They also took away all of the orchestra pieces from the original movie and replaced them with pop songs.

There is no creativity left in the cinematic universe.

It is worse when a director creates a sequel to a movie in live-action when the animation had no sequel, like Maleficent, with the director creating a sequel to Sleeping Beauty.

Even though a director may think the live-action would be better for families with young children, they can still be quite terrifying.

Animated movies will always be superior to live-action remakes.
