Boys volleyball falls short against South Fayette

The boys volleyball team lost 3-2 against South Fayette on Tuesday.

Sophomore Gavin Poe said that regardless of the result, the team had many positives and put forth their best effort.

“There were many games where we would start down five or six points. We were able to battle back and keep the game close,” Poe said. “I feel that we are one of the best teams in our section.”

This optimistic outlook, combined with the team’s strengths, allowed them to continue trying their hardest during matches.

“Now that we’re about to play our last game, my goal is to end the season on a good note. I want to look back to my freshman year and remember the hard work the team put in,” freshman Rohan Bhattarai said.

Bhattarai said the team tends to “dig a hole” for itself early in the match sometimes, which affects them negatively. Bhattarai said that the team had a lot of energy after the first set, and that everyone fought hard.
