Baldwin’s baseball team lost to Pine-Richland on Monday, 14-4.

“They hit really well and made very few mistakes in the field,” senior Connor Lavelle said. “We were low on pitching and they took advantage of our low pitching staff.”

“It was never really a close game,” Lavelle said.

There were some highlights for Baldwin, however.

“Some of our players had good at-bats, such as Colton Brain and Adam Ledbetter,” Lavelle said.

Brain, a senior, hit a double that knocked in two runs. Ledbetter, a freshman, had an RBI single in his first varsity at-bat.

Even though Baldwin fell behind, they still gave it their all.

“We never gave up,” Lavelle said.
