The Baldwin boys ice hockey team won 4-2 against Montour at RMU on Monday night.

Sophomores Trevor Belak and Dom Trimbur both scored for the Highlanders, and sophomore  Carson Kress scored twice.

Junior Dylan Belak said Kress played really well and earned both his goals.

“Kress is one of the hardest workers on the team. He scored in front of the net, got to dirty areas, and was willing to sacrifice his body to score his goals,” Dylan Belak said.

Belak also said Montour gave the Highlanders a tough game.

“They moved the puck really well and got it deep in our zone. We also had some bad line changes, which led to odd-man breaks,” Belak said.

The team’s next game is Monday at 7 p.m. at Ice Castle against South Fayette.
