The inline hockey team lost the first game of its best-of-three series against Hempfield over the weekend by a score of 8-4.

Senior Vinny Episcopo said there were bright spots for the team despite the loss.

“We kept our heads and never got too low,” Episcopo said.

Episcopo cited seniors James Dulya and Josh Sobierowski as teammates who played well.

But the Highlanders have work to do, he said.

“We still need to have better communication and put the puck in the back of the net,” Episcopo said.

The playoff series continues this weekend.
