Four Baldwin hockey players have made the PIHL AA all-star team for their contributions so far this season.

Seniors Tanner Cindrich and Paul Zmuda received the honor as well as juniors Keith Reed and Dylan Belak.

Cindrich said he is happy with the accomplishment.

“It feels great,” Cindrich said. “Making the all-star team was a goal I set at the beginning of the season.”

The all-star game will take place at 4 p.m. Jan. 26 at RMU Island Sports Complex. Cindrich said he is proud that he and his teammates will be able to experience this moment together.

“All are very well deserved. They are great team players who have many years of experience,” Cindrich said. “They happen to be more noticeable players on the ice.”

Cindrich acknowledged the competitiveness of the PIHL, but he hopes the team will make a big playoff impact this season.

“Getting far in this league isn’t easy,” Cindrich said. “Win or lose we hope to get better by the time we reach the playoffs.”
