The boys and girls swim teams lost a meet on Tuesday against Elizabeth Forward, although some Baldwin swimmers had strong performances.

Junior Dylan Stokes came in first in the 200 freestyle, and senior Corey Geyer came in second.  Senior Joey Weber came in second in the 200 individual medley.

On the girls team, the 200 medley relay came in first.

The diving board at Elizabeth Forward was broken, so divers could not participate in their events.

The team has been practicing their turns and keeping a constant pace.

“To win any more meets this season we have to put in 100 percent effort in practice and start and end fast,” Weber said.

Both teams compete away today at Upper Saint Clair.
