Zombieland: Double Tap is a highly anticipated sequel that does not measure up to the original, but still does not disappoint.

Ten years have passed since comedy and horror fans alike last saw their favorite zombie-killing gang of misfits. Just as in the first movie, the cast builds off of each other and are constantly making jokes despite their apocalyptic fate.

The first Zombieland featured a great mix of comedy and horror. This one struggles with the horror, as there is not one part in the movie that qualifies as truly scary. Meanwhile, some jokes land while others don’t.

Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson show why they are considered superstars. They bring good dramatic moments. They are also quite funny, as they were in the original.

This zombie sequel is enjoyable and fun, but won’t make anyone forget the original.
